Narcissus Congress
Narcissus Congress is the attention-seeker of the garden! The flower features bright yellow petals with an oversized, ruffled orange corona. An incredible sight! Congress blooms in April and reaches 40 cm in length. This daffodil belongs to the Split Corona group due to its frilled (split-looking) trumpet.
Split Corona flowers are gorgeous, and they always stand out from any other variety! Despite of looking very different from classic daffodils, this assortment is just as suitable for gardens, parks, pots and containers, as the regular variety. The bulbs can naturally multiply and do not require any special care. Due to its striking appearance and sturdy stems, Congress is a perfect and long-lasting cut flower.
Greek mythology says that there were handsome young men and beautiful young women, who were obsessed with admiring their own beauty that their personalities turned out to be very self-centered and narcissistic. As a result, the gods transformed them into the beautiful narcissus flowers.
