Product information "Tulip Albert Heijn"
Tulip Albert Heijn is named after the most well-known supermarket in the Netherlands. Luckily, it is not your traditional supermarket-blue but a lovely pink colour! This fosteriana type tulip creates multiple tints of pink that gradually change from the bottom to the tip of the petal. Fosteriana tulips originally come from Asia and have an elegant cup-shaped flowers in bright colours and with sturdy stems. They look wonderful as cut-flowers!
Fosteriana type tulips still have the impression of being called – wild tulips because they can easily naturalise on their own in your garden. The pink tulip Albert Heijn looks amazing in combination with grape hyacinths (Muscari latifolium).
