Product information "Lilium Pumilum"
Lilium pumilum is a wild lily variety that originates in the southeast of Russia and the northeast of China where it grown in the grasslands. This dwarf lily (Lat ‘pumilus’ = dwarf) does not get very tall (50 cm) but gives many small flowers with rolled up petals and long stamens that stick out. This flower looks like a bright scarlet-red version of the lilium martagon. Lilium pumilum flowers in the early summer (June) and will definitely come up for several years when planted in a warm and sunny spot. In the right circumstances this lily will naturalise.
